Blog Slang

Beers on irootforbeer.blogspot.com will only be described in six simple categories. As I stated in my welcome write up this is not a sophisticated blog. I just want to help those square beer drinkers take a chance on a future star. The six describing categories will be alcohol %, tint, color, smell, head, and star power. Below you will see a description of each category.

Alcohol %: The actual alcohol percentage per volume

Head: The foam on top of beer is called a head. It is caused by bubbles of carbon dioxide. (small, medium, big)

Smell: The initial wiff that hits your nose (fruity, NA, hoppy, etc)

Color: Color of the beer. (Blonde, Brown, Red, etc.)

Tint: How well you can see through the glass with the beer in it. (Dark, Medium, Light)

Star Power: The beer's buy ability.

OFFICIAL RANKING (Best to Worse).

Reach for the Star = 4 stars

OK = 3 stars

Restaurant Buy = 2 stars

Waste of Money = 0-1 stars
