According to your amateur expertise, do you prefer #9 or Circus Boy? I've had #9 and thought it was just ok (not rated), but I've never had Circus Boy.
I would prefer # 9. I have not yet found my taste for a hefe yet which circus boy is. It also had a bit of pale aleish in it. Weird, too much at my young age.
Hefeweizens are, in my opinion, better in the summer. They take some getting used to, but I love a good hefe after some summer activity.
I had a pretty good one this winter, and while I liked it, it just wasn't the same.
I'd advise holding off on them until the right time on a hot day in Rochester. Until then, they're not quite right (like drinking a stout in the summer- gross!).

ReplyDeleteHow do they compare?
